Psychedelic cosmic explorers SOLAR EYES are set to release 'Top of the World', the mesmerizing first single to be taken off their self-titled debut album. The biggest hometown show so far follows a debut springtime jaunt to play SXSW and the success of a special BBC Introducing live event in Kidderminster as well as a triumphant twirl at The Great Escape. After the flash bang and indeed wallop of their three sun-dazzled EP releases - ‘Dreaming Of The Moon’, ‘Alcatraz’ and 'Naked Monkey On A Spaceship' - the sonic surfers are now turning their own solar eyes towards the release of their debut album, 'Solar Eyes', on the panda on February 16th 2024.

A veritable vivacious rock'n'roll blast it will be too: Solar Eyes is the brainchild of the talented core duo, Glenn Smyth and Sebastian Maynard Francis, and their blend of cosmic melodies and immersive sonic landscapes have already hung, drawn and quartered comparisons to Primal Scream, Chemical Brothers, ELO and the twanging ambiguities of messrs Morricone and Pizzorno.

Those three previous EPs have attracted the attention of prominent figures such as Steve Lamacq, John Kennedy and The Observer and garnered Solar Eyes placements on renowned programmes like 'Match of the Day’ and' 'Football Focus'. 'Top Of The World'? Not half...
